We like moving needles. We like moving needles and working with good people. We like moving needles and working with good people and having fun. When all of those things happen at the same time, we’re like a dog with an unlatched gate or a rolled-down car window. We hope you feel the same about what you do.
Take a look at some of the work we’ve produced. If you like what you see, give us a whistle. Let’s roll down some car windows and have some fun.
We put Bark together to service all sizes of clients with all kinds of marketing and advertising needs. Our backgrounds tell us that’s possible. We’ve worked on global brands. We’ve worked two-branch banks. TV to door hangers, digital to shelf wobblers we’ve run the gamut. Whatever we do, it’s smart, it’s informed by our audience and it’s built to make a difference. All good things.
Chuck’s a creative-minded strategic marketing professional with the proven ability to build brands and customer loyalty in a wide range of consumer, financial, technology and healthcare markets. He’s also adept at developing and executing marketing initiatives that exceed revenue and market share objectives. Always a good thing.
Prior to co-founding bark, Chuck held senior management positions at Publicis, Cochrane Chase Livingston/Saatchi and Ayer/LA, directing multi-faceted campaigns for global brands the likes of Epson, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Sony, Toshiba, Xerox and Yamaha Music/Audio/Sports.
Chuck lives in San Juan Capistrano with his wife, Cindy, and is a community activist, having served as both chairman and board member of several philanthropic groups in Southern California. In addition, Chuck has been an adjunct Marketing professor at California State University Fullerton for ten very fulfilling years.
He currently has no dogs of any breed, but has in the past and will again.
An award-winning art director and creative director, Paul has honed his craft at some of the West Coast’s best agencies, including Foote Cone & Belding, Goldberg Moser O’Neill, O’Leary & Partners and Dahlin Smith White.
Paul’s experience ranges from motherboards to motorbikes, on brands like Dell Computer, Hilton/Doubletree, In-N-Out, Intel, Iomega, Kawasaki, Taylor Made, Toshiba and Western Digital.
His work has won prestigious creative awards (ADDYs and a Kelly Finalist, to name just a few) and been featured in Communication Arts, Graphis and Print’s Regional Annual.
What’s he up to when he and his bark buddies aren’t working for you? Scuba diving, riding his motorcycle and banging away on his drums. Much to the chagrin of his long-suffering pooch, Chico.
Scott’s done time at a number of Southern California advertising agencies including Grey, Dailey, FCB and his own Salvati Montgomery Sakoda before forming bark with his friends, Chuck and Paul.
An award-winning (aren’t we all?) writer/creative director, his work has appeared in virtually every awards competition in the country, several text books and the permanent collection of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
His experience includes everything from Hilton Hotels to Kawasaki, TaylorMade Golf to Taco Bell, Carl’s Jr to Hong Kong Tourism. And a number of favorite pro-bono accounts.
His personal interests include golf, photography, his wife Debbe, son Evan, daughter Maggie, three hyper little dogs (Bijou, Sammy and Cassidy) and a several-year-old carnival goldfish who refuses to die. He or she has no name.
Well, since you've made it this far, it must mean you must have some interest in what you and Bark can do together.
